At the age of three and a half years, he entered into the world of acting & singing as a child artist. (He never learned music & He never did theatre). SK Rafi was born and raised in Dhaka, Bangladesh to Sheikh Tofazzal Hossain Fuad, a Bengali Muslim father and Sheikh Daliya Akter Akhi, a Bengali Muslim mother.
